Jokes & Humor - An alternative to time out...

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

This might just work!
I told my son they came up with a better method then timeouts and showed him the pic he just said NO!!!!!!! :) This just might work.

I had my 3 year-old grandson visiting me this weekend, and SEVERAL TIMES during the weekend, this joke came to mind!
Seriously though, I cannot complain. He keeps me young! (He is holding vacuum cleaner attachments...he uses them as his "sword", since I have confiscated all his toy swords and put them away!)

My grandson lives with me now. Time for this alternative to "time out" I think!
A 'time out' never resolves like a good crack on the a$$ does, and takes twice as long to do it :)

I threatened to throw one of my campers in the fire while we were out in Death Valley. He reminded me I'd lose my accrediation so I decided not to.

For some kids, that would just be rewarding them.
I wish my parents were cool enough to try that when I was younger...
(To clarify, I was referring to the original picture in this thread, not the post above mine about being thrown in to the fire. I burn easily enough from the sun as it is.)

Thanks for my best laugh of the week!
In Corona, we have these radar speed things as permanent signs in the school zones. If you go too fast it tells you to slow down.
Course, as a cyclist, I try to get it to tell me to slow down. Good for interval training.
