Introductions - New member from Cape Cod Ma., and Fort Myers Fl.

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Hello. I'm Bill I'm a professional musician (bass, and vocals). I live on Cape Cod Ma. most of the year, and Fort Myers Fl. for four months. On the Cape I ride mostly bike paths, and the Cape Cod Canal, plus some of the safer neigborhoods in my area. In Fort Myers I'm all over the place.Fort Myers Bch., Sanibel, downtown Fort Myers etc.I currently have an Iron Horse Adventure hybrid, and an old Favorit road bike (Czeck made). The Iron Horse is great for Fl. (bullet-proof), and I'll be looking for a new road bike soon. I've kept the Favorit running for a long time, but it's getting tired. Anyway it's good to be a part of this forum. I'm sure I'll enjoy it.

Hello Bill, before you hang up the Favorit for good, take some photos and share with us in the Classic & Vintage forum, please?
Check out the regional forums, too.
Welcome to BF!

I think I have some shots of the favorit right before I changed the handlebars, and tape I'll try to pull them up shortly. It's not a pretty thing, but rides real nice. It gets new derailers when I get home.
Yes, If you can play through a circle of fifths after drinking one, or identify, and play notes beyond the root, third, and fifth, then bass players too,can call themselves musicians...But only in a pinch.

We'll look forward to seeing the Favorit.
If you can still play bass after drinking a fifth--then you're a pro :D !

We're working on the photo thang! Could take a day, or so. Playing bass after a fifth of Jack is way easier than doing the computer thing. Hopefully we'll get it. It won't be pretty though. (I could NOT look away). 00
