Tues/Wed rides

Does anyone already do or want to start doing some group rides out of Cupertino on Tues and Wed afternoons?

I work in Mountain View and need a buddy or two to get me motivated to get back into shape this spring.

I am interested, yes. I've been trying to do weekly rides from cupertino, but having trouble finding time. Having a scheduled ride would help that.

Any ideas for routes? I've done the Mount Eden Road / Steven's Canyon route before it's pretty nice though short.

I work in Palo Alto and would love to hook up for an early+long commute home, especially now that it's staying light a little later.

If you don't mind a later start, the Western Wheelers bicycle club has recreational-pace rides every Tuesday and Wednesday morning. Tuesday ride (flat to rolling) meets in Sunnyvale at 11am. Wednesday ride (hilly) meets in Los Altos at 10am. See www.westernwheelers.org for details.

There are enough routes that we could change it up every week. Montebello, Mt Eden, Foothill, over to hwy 9...

I ride home from San Jose to San Mateo 2x per week once DST kicks in.

I ride the following route (without the details at beginning and end)
- Central Expy from end to end.
- Cut over on Arastradero/Charleston to Foothill Expy.
- Foothill Expy changes to Junipero Serra changes into Alameda de las Pulgas
- RT, head down Brittan Ave through San Carlos to Old County Road
- Old County to the end

If anyone wants to join in along the way, that'd be cool!

I'd be able to join you on Central somewhere near Moffett Blvd/Shoreline and cruise up. I guess how far I'd go would change as I pick up some lost fitness.
