kinda cool considering that you can have the option to run a derailleur on a hori-dropout frame considering that my apt is big enuf to house one bike only. but the big question is that...does it really work?

anyone?

cheers

I don't know if it does but another tugg that works perfectly with horiz drops is the Surly Tuggnut

Here's how I ran it

The thing I like about the tuggnut is it requires no tools even though it's a bit heavy

sorry ..what i meant was ..maybe it would be kinda cool to be able to run a derailluer bikes with a horizontal dropouts like my jamie roy or any track bikes if a need arises.

so anyone have or had experiences with these?

cheers

I am seriously tempted to but the only problem is dropout spacing and have a cassette fit. You'd probably need like a 4 or 5 speed cassette right?

the jamie roy has 130mm spacing.

You'd have to run full housing too. But that would be fun. someone do it and post pics!

Wasn't someone looking for a track frame with a hanger on here a bit ago?

I thought about this, and decided that i would just go Internal gear hub route instead.

he wants to run a derailer hanger on track ends so that way he can make the bike a multi-gear without having to buy another bike.

then he should just go and buy a crappy Nexave derailleur with a built in hanger and call it a day.
