do I own? I bought an older CX bike, sparkly silver with black and neon green writing that says Jake the Snake. Anyone know what year this model is?

Sounds like it might be 2001. When I was shopping for a used JTS, I found this website to help me ID the year of the bike I was looking at.

Good find, I knew a kid with that year's model and neither of us could figure out when it was from (he bought it used).

It sounds like a 2000 (i have the same one. came with matching neon michelin mud tubs and full 105, except mine has sugino crank. They are great bikes and better components than the same bike since then

2000's were black/white w/ green tires. The 2001 was silver.
