Greetings everyone, from a new member in Greensboro, NC. I'm a middle-aged "re-entry" rider, who is just getting back into the sport after 20+ years away. Am currently riding an older Trek 800 MTB, and just picked up a leftover K2 Mach 1.0, at a steep discount, for road riding. The first thing that struck me (other than how much my conditioning had deteriorated over the years) was how much the equipment has improved - lighter, smoother, faster, and even less expensive (factoring inflation). Am looking forward to getting back into riding shape, and then keeping up with the many packs that ride our great roads around here - I am also fortunate to be in a place where we can (and do) ride year-round.
I'll look forward to corresponding with you all, and thank you in advance for your counsel as I try to improve my wrenching (as well as riding) skills. Ride safe, everyone!
