Met up with Taxi777, cccorlew, and Tricia, at Samuel P. Taylor Park, off of Sir Francis Drake Drive. Pretty ride through to Point Reyes Station, where we hung out, waiting for the pack to come swooping by.

Everyone wanted to hang out at the sprint points line, while we hung out at the turn before doing a short climb. What was amazing was a couple of locals wanted to get through, and the poor Tour of Ca volunteer had to tell them they couldn't go through. I didn't hear the conversations, but they were really irate they couldn't pass. I guess they could give a damn about the fact that a world class race is taking place.

We watched today's stage on the computer. It's a great live feed. I'm trying to figure out how I can watch it and teach at the same time. :D

Anyway... I thought that hill leaving Point Reyes Station would be a great place to watch from. It's steep enough to slow them down a little and there's good food. :p

Wow. Thank you for bringing this into my livingroom!!

It was a great day. We drove 1.5 hours, rode 10 miles, goofed off. Watched cyclists scream by for 20 seconds, rode 10 miles, drove 1.5 hours and had a great time no matter how stupid it sounds. It's all about who you're with.

Just saw "our corner" on Versus. Went by too fast to see us, but we know we were there. They even showed the break leader have to duck around a car, which WE SAW LIVE.
This is great! They're on the road we rode, and almost as fast as us too!!!!

Anyone know where I can check out the video for today's ride? Versus's replayed it at 8 but I wasn't home to watch and I rode around Marin after the race began and didn't catch any of it.
