OK, so the team deal on the skinsuits fell through, so I'm off on my own again.

I was going to get the Voler skinsuit, but need to decide on short sleeve vs. long sleeve... my TT's have always seemed to be from low temps (early April) to mid-level temps (August mornings, say, 70-75 degrees); so I was leaning towards long sleeves. Comments?

And then there's the sizing. I'm at 5' 9", ~155 lbs (will be 145 this summer), 32" waist. The height puts me in the middle of medium; the waist and weight put me at the low end of medium. I've heard that voler runs bigger than their charts suggest, though. Comments?

I'm 6'4" and somewhat slender. I have a large, but I wish it was a little tighter. A medium would never fit my height though.

I think you could get into a small as far as height is concerned, and that may be a better girth fit too. Sucks that you can't try one on, but I think I'd favor small if I were you.

If I was 2" shorter, I think I'd go for a medium.

I recommend short sleeve; you can add arm warmers if needed but if you get a long sleeve and its hot then...

I'm 5'9", 28" waist, and about 145-150 right now, and the small works for me.

I am 5'10, muscular build, 185 lbs and a medium fits me perfectly.

Go short sleeve.

Yep. I'm 6'2 180 and the only skinsuit I have is a NOS Tommasini I got for 6 bucks on eBay. It's a size "ML" and sorta restrictive when standing up, but on the bike it's comfy.

If I were you I'd go small/short sleeves.

I'll be doing 100km crits in my small long sleeve Voler skinsuit this year.

And unfortunately a time trial or two.

I'm 5'7", 143 at the moment and falling. Broad chest, narrow waist, normal length/size arms and legs.

I'll vouch for Voler sizing beind larger than stated. I'm 5'11" 183lbs and wear Medium in voler bibs.

I'd go with small. I'm borrowing a small LS Voler skinsuit this weekend, but I could go with XS (5'7", 127). I plan on wearing warm base layers under the small this weekend, if I can fit them in the arms/shoulders. At first, I thought I couldn't go any shorter than the small, but once I was on the trainer for a while last night in it, I realized it stretched more than I thought. I can't be picky, though, because our kit orders are all screwed up too and I'm taking what I can get.

I wouldn't worry about going down a size for the right width at your height. Your size waist will fit. It may feel pretty short when you first put it on, especially when you stand around, but I think it'll be fine. The sleeves are plenty long too.

I'd get the small. Voler runs on the large side. plus, you want a skinsuit to be tight. skintight, one could say.
