Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - which of my frames is better (pics)

need some help guys, Im working on my first ever conversion. I was originally going to use the Centurion Super le mans I got from a pawn shop for 100 bucks. Then today I came into possession of a Schwinn Prelude. The Schwinn is overall about an inch bigger but not much.


I dont know which one will fit me better so Ill start with the one that has the best frame.

so which one is better ?

From what i read on the labels the Centurion is Chrome Molyboen Steel made in japan and the Schwinn is Tenax Columbus and I believe was made in the US.

Well, no point building up a frame that doesn't fit you.

either one will work well for my size, i rode the Centurion before taking it apart and it fit me.

you can start by taking the boost mobile sticker off that schwinn. centurion looks like its in better shape but it really depends on your size, both of those frames are pretty small but either looks like it'd make a decent conversion.

i'd start by building up the schwinn cause it has more parts on it and it actually has a fork and then go from there.

they are small i have a 29 inch inseam and if was was to guess id say they are 49-52cm

I dont exactly know how to measure them yet to find out.

yeah i just got the schwinn today im gonna clean it up but overall is in good condition also.

I got all the parts to the Centurion also, i took it apart last month. Im interested in knowing which is better steel.
