I'm in HB. There is a few around here and Costa Mesa/Irvine area. I need an alternative rather than just sitting at home. Plus I broke my skateboard truck last night so I can't skate either.

blah.

Are you saying you want to buy a fixed gear bicycle? or are you looking for advice on skateboard truck repair? or perhaps you are looking for a parking structure?

Seeing if anyone would like to meet up for some drag racing in a parking structure to cover us from the rain tonight.

I think he has a bike already but it's water-soluble so he can't go out when it's raining.

I've been wanting to organize a parking structure sprint for awhile. Racing down the one across the street from where I live is fun times, 5 stories of constant right turns and smooooooth cement. Just gotta time it when the cars have all gone home...

Anyone remember Lucas Brunelle's London video where the alleycat starts off in a parking structure? That was bad ass, a few guys eat **** immediately.

Yeah I think it would be a fun environment. I always skate them when it rains. I thought, "how cool would it be to have drag races when it rains".

I'm game.

i used to skate this parking structure when it rained too. good manual pads, and sometimes i'd bring a flat bar. in a few ways it was better than skating outside when it was sunny.

I like to ride up and down one on the way home from a party to blow off steam.

(edit: steam = sexual frustration, in this case)

gotta learn to handle the turns, then restrict a race to fixed only. it'd be pure fun. 165 cranks + time atacs = i have yet to clip a pedal, riding down a parking structure building or not.

on our weekly ride (well, weekly scheduled ride) we normally head up to the top of a parking garage. i always want to race but i think it would be me busting my ass and my friends wondering what i was doing. if i was in california i'd be there.

I'm totally doing that at the parking garage here once the snow melts(no one ever goes to the top so it's icy as balls up there.

Me and my friends always do this at the fallsview casino. Until one day when my brakeless hipster friend who doesn't know how to skid or pedal backwards lost control and smashed into a wall. Cutting up his face and bending his forks. Pwn3d.

Sounds like fun. I can think of a few garages around here we could use.

did you use HDR layering on that picture? looks really good. reminds me of why i get on my bike and take the time to really see what's around me.
