I'll visit some friends in Madison, New Jersey later this year. Considering the price difference between Belgium and the USA I was thinking about buying a new bike (Cannondale, Cervélo, ...). Where should I go for good service and competitive prices?

I got my Cervelo at Cosmic Wheel in Ridgefield park, NJ. They had the best price of all the local Cervelo dealers

I bought my 5200 there. The owner is a great guy also, LOVES bikes.

I usually stop by Piermont Bikes (http://www.piermontbike.com/) on the 9W rides - its a big shop with huge a inventory (Cannondale, Cervelo, BMC, and Scott)

I'm quite familiar with the area around Madison; none of the places posted so far are very close. There is a shop right in the center of Madison on North St. that sells Cannondale. Chatham is a few miles away and on Main St. you will find a shop carrying Bianchi that caters to a somewhat more serious roadie than the Madison shop. Other shops in that area worth looking at are Marty's in Morristown (mainly Specialized), Liberty in Basking Ridge (Colnago, Mondonico, etc. - a pretty serious roadie shop) and Cycle Craft on Rt. 46 in Parsippany (Trek, Cannondale, Scott, Serotta, Guru - the largest of the shops here).

I realize that things can be expensive in Europe, but all of these shops range from expensive to super-expensive by US standards. But maybe you can get a good deal.
