My girlfriend and I are driving down to Asheville tonight to catch the Greg Cartwright show tomorrow (of Oblivions fame). We'll have pretty much all of Friday and Saturday to do stuff.

Anyone on here from Asheville? What's the cool stuff to do? Any good bike shops/record stores/etc?

hearn's cyclery is downtown, a nice small shop. It's pretty hilly there so fixed riding is a challenge. There is also the "mellowdrome", and old concrete race track you can ride...ask at hearn's. There is a record store near hearns too, a block or so down and left -
