I like my Alex DA16s. Double-wall, mid-height profile, light enough but at the same time strong enough as a 32h 3-cross to withstand my 235 pounds hammering on them up 1400' of steep and long hills every day.

I want to build a new front wheel with a SON28 hub, and keep my current wheel to match with a DA16 I'm going to build on a fixed hub for the track. The problem is, I can't find anyplace that sells DA16 rims in 700c. I've seen a ton of 'bent and unicycle places that have 20" and 26" DA16's.

Does anybody know an online shop with 700c Alex DA16 rims?

They are still current production. Perhaps the wholesaler is out of stock. This recently happened with a part I was looking for. After a few weeks it showed up again. Try the LBS, they might be able to track one down for you.
