View Full Version : What do you know, it can be done!!
I went over to my neighbor's yesterday to get her PC to do some work to it and she hands me a container of brownies as a thank you. I didn't want to be rude so I took them. I let my daughter have one last night and took the rest to work. I didn't even have a small piece of one.
I'm proud of myself!!

Good job with the choice. A small piece doesn't hurt from time to time either.

i dont think a small piece would kill you...i should watch what i eat more then i do, but i hit the gym twice a day and have a small snack every now and then. i'm not dead..so thats proof enough for me. lol
Nice willpower! "Nothing tastes as good as being skinny feels."
So I come in this morning to find an e-mail saying there are donuts. The best part is that I'm not even tempted. I'm happy eating my oatmeal and hard-boiled egg whites this morning. It does feel nice to make the healthy choice and not the easy choice.

Consider that line stolen.:D I think I should put that on my fridge so I see it every time I open it.

I have to admit I.m fighting with the willpower issue right now. I probably would have given in. So congrats on the strong willpower and good luck on continued success.

here is a great quote for you..."Eat food. Not too much. Mostly plants." by food that means real food...whole food if you will and nothing that makes a health claim...this from author Michael Pollan...check him out...good stuff...not a diet author but really goes into the hows and the whys of the crappy food culture we have now

Hard part for me is doing that day after day, year after year. I've lost the same 25 pounds 15 times, but as soon as I slack off, it creeps back.
This isn't a surprise, a mystery or even a complaint, BTW. I know exactly why it happens. But it pisses me off every time...
