Well, that's about all you need to know- I guess he's promoting his new book?

I'm sure he'll have nice things to say about his pal, the Terminator governor too.

Didn't hear him mention the gov, but he had nice things to say about Robin Williams.

I'm afraid I didn't stay up for Leno. What topics did the interview cover? Every Second Counts (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0385508719/qid=1065876625/sr=8-1/ref=sr_8_1/102-0384270-5221729?v=glance&s=books&n=507846)? The Tour of Hope (http://www.tourofhope.com/toh/index.htm)? Ride for the Roses Weekend (http://www.laf.org/events/rftr.html)? Other?

Funny thing- I went out of my way to post this, then missed it!

I was watching Leno, but it got so stupid with the picking the freaks out of the audience that I had to turn it. I then got engrossed in a Will and Grace episode, and by the time I remembered about Lance, they were on the final guest- some guy singing.

Oh well. I'll wait for repeats.

They talked about the Tour of Hope. There were a lot of participants in the audience (all wearing their yellow jerseys). They talked a little about the book. Jay didn't understand the team concept in cycling and Lance explained it to him. They showed the crash on Luz-Ardieden a couple of times. When Jay asked if Lance was planning on winning the TDF next year he said that he wasn't training to come in second. (Big round of applause). Lance said that he wasn't really prepared at the beginning of the TDF this year. He won't make that same mistake again.

The best line came from Jay: When Lance said that the Tour of Hope was about saving lives, Jay said that who knows, a life that is saved could one day grow up to kick your a**. :p

That last comment is pretty freakin' funny.

I don't think Leno is that funny, but sometimes, he does have some quick wit.

Thanks for the recap.

I actually much enjoyed Lance's comeback to that comment though. He said, "You know what? I don't have a problem with that."
