I really like Let It Be and Please to Meet Me which was my introduction to the band. Although I am starting to really like Tim a lot more as I've gotten older.

I'd have to say Let it Be is my fave. And it gave Peter Buck-who plays guitar on the first track- some street (or gutter) cred.

What's this stuff like? They sounded interested in the write in The Reader last week. Did you go see them?

Fugazi Dave

I'd describe them sort of as Aphex Twin without the weird. Good solid electronic. I wish I could have gone to see them, though I didn't get the chance.

I can try. Their tracks are long, though, so it'll be a big fat file.

Currently listening to a random assortment of Led Zep tracks.

Just downloaded a new Public Enemy track "Make Love **** War (Dirty Version)" that they did with Moby. It's pretty good, although not quite the explosion of "Night of the Living Baseheads" or "Bring The Noise" or brutal as "She Watch Channel Zero" or as righteous as "By the Time I Get to Arizona" but it's pretty damn good.

Yesterday I was listening to David Bowie. Today I heard he had heart surgery, so I listened to him again.

Yesterday was Louie Bellson's 80th birthday. I got to shake the hand of the man that Duke Ellington called not only "the greatest drummer in the world...but the greatest musician in the world." It was pretty cool.
