It is DJ Shadow. Just watched it. It's pretty cool. Through it's symbolism it's as if the guy does the reverse of Christ in some mystical way. Not sure what to think of it, morally, but very powerful stuff.

Death Cab for Cutie - Transatlanticism

Far and away one of the best cd's to come out in the past 5 years. Absolutley phenomenal. But i can't decide if i like that or The Postal Service more...

Last night saw a performance by John Eddie and Maia Sharp. Sharp the warm up....Eddie was a powerful performer. He had the audience really rocking....Recommend Eddie...Got a cd autographed by Eddie.
So few listeners hear the likes of Eddie...Both performers had sharp rebukes to the quality of American radio and strong praise for our local independent radio station.(They play their music, unlike so many chain owned stations that think a performer has only released maybe 2-3 songs.) w/o the independence of our local independent, doubt I would have know of Eddie.
So throughout the night, Eddie's cd was played and replayed by vistors who went to the concert with us...Think I know the lyrics after all those replays...With the one female visitor who attended, Eddie seems a real crooner with the woman.

Is the Postal Service album that good? All I've heard is the single that's getting play everywhere and I keep forgetting to give it a listen when i'm at the record stores around here.

right now i'd say its better than transatlanticism, but like i said i go back and forth. Definitely a differnt sound, more electronic, less rock-and-roll, but amazing. I love it. If you like ben gibbard's coie as much as i do, you'll dig the cd. Pick it up.
