']ah yes...the ephemeral sounds of lush. Good stuff. Always nice to chase lush with a shot of My Bloody Valentine
Mmmm, shoegaze heaven. MBV has supposedly been working on re-releasing the Glider EP as a full length album. I hope they finish it in the next 10 years.

Neutral Milk Hotel - "In the Aeroplane Over the Sea"
NMH: One of my all time favs. sigh.
Careful, tho it's easy to overdo/wear it out.
Trailer Bride (High Seas) and Mountain Goats (Tallahassee) are also perennial favs.

This morning started with Pink Floyd: Atom Heart Mother. I'm not sure why, but I was in the mood to hear Summer '68. I've always kind of liked the ATH Suite. Today even Alan's Psychedelic Breakfast was tolerable.
I followed that up with a lot of Joe Cocker, both Greatest Hits and Best of....Cocker's got one of the best bad voices in the business.
I think I'll put on some Delbert McClinton next. Del's paid his dues.
