Some early Chicago, from back when they were new, different, talented and exciting.
Hard to believe that the band that did Dialogue (Part I & II) would one day record a barstidized version of Sing, Sing, Sing in collaboration with the Gipsy Kings. I guess entropy is more than just a concept.

Some early Chicago, from back when they were new, different, talented and exciting.
The first Chicago album - back when they were still called the Chicago Transit Authority - is one of my favorite albums. Double LP, great songs and also some great jams, and the horns were tastefully done and not overwhelming, like on much of their later stuff. Come to think of it, I never did buy another Chicago album after that first one...

Psyence Fiction ~ U.N.K.L.E.
The Oblio Joes. I used to hang out with them back in MT. They have some of the best lyrics ever:
I woke up in a ditch today - it's not half as bad as you think.
I drank another fifth today, quit my job.
I'm feeling much better now, now how about you?
C'mon, c'mon please believe me.
There's something very solid in that far away dream
Something unbelievable is followin me
Something unbelievable is followin me
It's been in my head since I woke up. Now it's on the CD player at work...
