Also been reading about Mission of Burma in this great book I bought remaindered called Our Band Could Be Your Life which chronicles many underground '80's bands. Good read if interested in Fugazi, Minor Threat, Black Flag, Mission of Burma, The Replacements, Sonic Youth and other bands of that era. Cool to hear the history behind them and their origins and the difference between the industry then vs. now. Makes all these whiney bands of today sound what they a really are, whiney.

I like this, too. It's good background music and also like listening to the echoes in your head.

I was going to see them last year when they were out here, but it clashed with my Tasmania trip. Maybe next time.

I did just listen to an awesome live set from Eskimo Joe on Triple J.

That !!! record is hot. When I bought mine, the store included a balloon(?!), sticker and a remix CD. Plus, it was only $9.99. Not a bad price for a good indie/techno/electro rawk album.

Right now it's Gersey. The current track is Crashing. I try to avoid listening to that right before a ride.

Today I am listening to Rod Stewart's cd "The Great American Songbook". He sings lots of old love songs on this one, such as "You Got to My Head," "Moonglow," "That Old Feeling," etc. Not bad, but I rather prefer the original artists' renditions of the songs. I think Stewart did this cd kind of as a tribute to his mom or something.

Next it was Bob Seeger's Greatest Hits. I especially like Old Time Rock and Roll (reminds me of Tom Cruise in "Risky Business"). Then I listened to Ray Charles' "Listen!" cd. And now I am settled in and listening to some easy tunes from "Music from the Pleiades" by Gerald Jay Markoe.

That's actually the only Godspeed album I own. I love pretty much everything I've heard, though.
