I actually got into bikes about a month ago, when all of a sudden I went from having a complete beater BMX.
To a fixed up mongoose that a friend had wasting away in his basement.
Now, I have a nice haro frame that I have been tinkering with with little money, but a lot of ambition.
It sucks to see it sit there with no wheels cause I cannot afford the stupid 14mm adapters.
I actually like working on it though and have learned beyond what I had no idea about before.
Now, when me and my BMX buddies talk i don't feel like the American in a foreign country.
I can actually talk shop with the boys.
I think I might even want to apply for a job at the LBS, maybe ask for an intern or apprentice type deal till i am more Beefed up in my bike knowledge.
But yeah hit me up on here It's always fun to make more friends, and even better to make new ones with my new found love in life :D
