its not cheap, but i'd keep an eye on it if i were you :)

I feel like 650c stuff is super-cheap compared to similar 700c stuff. Triathletes seem to be abandoning 650c, which means you can score 650c carbon rimmed wheels and tri-spokes for ~$200 or so.

there's a good reason 650s are super cheap. And that's because everyone's abandoning that size. G'luck finding decent priced tires for em.

Well, Vittoria and Tufo both make 650C tubulars that are available through QBP, which means that just about any bike shop in the country can order them for you.

It's not about tires though, it's about wheels. If you can still get 27" tires, then 650c tires should be around for a long time to come.
