I know there are teams out there that have donated vehicles wrapped in car dealership ads. Any idea on how to "pitch" the idea to them. I'm hoping for a trailer also or maybe just a minivan!

I'm thinking the costs aren't eliminated, but only defrayed, by the ads.

I'd look for a dealership with a demo vehicle or off-lease vehicle, which ask if they'd be willing to donate a portion of a lease, with the caveat of ads. Obviously going to a dealer who's a cyclist would help, as would putting an ad on your jersey.

Unless you're a Top-10 NRC amateur team, goooooooood luck with that one.

But, you can always try. If it was me, I'd get them on board as a sponsor this year, just putting their name on jerseys and donating cash. Then, a year or two down the line, ask for a heavy discount on a car. Then, try your full blown pitch.

Or IS-Corp the junior team that is just swimming in $$. They have 2 team cars, one of which is a BMW wagon.

That's a bit different. ISCorp is a company sponsoring a team, and buying them some cars.

Richard isn't exactly in the heartland of American cycling, and as is made apparent by his post, has no sugar daddy like Nova-IScorp.

Are they not sponsoring a Senior Women's or Senior Men's Elite team this year?

I had a couple of friends on each, and I can't find any mention of them on their website now.
