Hi all,

What is the easiest way to measure the sag
on my manitou black elite fork?

Thanks!

I'm not super familiar with the Black. Does it have fork boots or are the stanchions bare? If there are boots, move them to the top and secure them with a rubber band or a couple of zip ties and then:

Put a zip tie around the stanchion, snuggly but not overly tight! Move it all the way down to where it meets the lower fork assembly. Sit on the bike, the movement of the fork will move the zip tie upwards. Get off the bike measure from the top of the lower assembly and the new zip tie location.

Hope this helps.
