I'm eyeing these and wondered if anyone has any experience with the "fit" on one of these. Looking at the Zurich or maybe the Reno. Not sure about others...I am 5'4" with 29 inseam...have ridden a man's 50cm, but always reaching too far for my comfort on the bar.

I have the women's zurich size 49, I'm 5'5 with a 30 inch inseam. The fit is great even with the seat back as far as it will go the reach is easy. I spent many uncomfortable years on mens bikes that didn't fit, it's worth it to check out the women's models.

Well, I test rode a Lemond WSD 49 and a Lemond mens' 49 and there WAS a difference in how I felt on the bike. Even though the geometry charts say the only difference is 10mm on the top tube and .5' on the headset angle, it DID make a difference in how I felt. On the mens' I felt like I was falling over on my face.

As for the 49WSD (I'm 5'4" and 29 inseam), I'd have to say it was the MOST comfortable I've felt on a road bike from the first ride. Very nice....I'm going to put a deposit on it next week! (a Tourmalet)

I've been riding my brother-in-law's 98 Tourmalet (I think it's 49, and I'm 5'3" with 29-30 inseam). I've always adapted to whatever I'm riding, but it is a bit of a stretch, especially when holding onto the hoods. Otherwise, I think I like the feel of a steel road bike.
