If I had even listened to some of those- Do you think I would admit it? Though Wally Whyton rings a bell.
:roflmao::roflmao:
OMG! Those are hysterically funny. Where did you find that site? Orleans sounds familiar...
Brutal, just brutal.:cry: (We don't have a smiley for barfing.)
I'm finding lots of Saturday Night Live characters in there.:D
Ahh! Orleans (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orleans_(band)). "Dance with Me" and "You're Still the One". I liked those songs!

My classical education must be incomplete. I don't think I've ever seen, heard or talked about those before.

Jim Post was in the folk-rock vein right? I think he played Northwestern University a few times while I was a student there.

Crazy world, ain't it?
Orleans is the only one that rings a faint bell.

Having any of those records? No. Having photographs in the family album that look a great deal like some of the folks on the album covers? Well..... OK, it's true. Amazing how what is fashionable today will most likely seem quite foolish later. Can't wait to hear my grand kids laugh at photos of me in lycra shorts and 50+ jersey.
Sold all my LP's to Half Price Books. Can't say that any of the album covers were as ............interesting..............as any of those.
These are brutal. I will admit to owning that "Joyce" album once. I found it in a thrift store and bought it because it was so camp I had to have it. I never listened to it - honest!

Man will winter ever end, so we can get back to something productive like riding a bike or mowing the lawn.

Sorry Jet, There is only room for so many LPs in my collection and when it came to the decision between Country Church and New Riders of the Purple Sage I could only choose one.

I remember the "Orleans" album. Didn't own it, though (worked in a record shop once upon a time).
Skinny chests and big hair. Wow!

As far as I'm concerned, mowing the lawn isn't productive, especially if you're watering the lawn to get it to grow so that you have to mow it again, so you can water it so that you can... I figured the drought we had last year was Mother Nature's way of telling me to take most of the summer off from mowing; my neighbor apparently took it to mean that his water bill wasn't high enough! The only things I watered last year were the trees - grass is easy to regrow, but 20+ year old trees take a while!
