Building a catapult has got to take a lot of time and lots of planning. My hats off to Danka24.

Crap man... adjust those photos in whatever imaging program you have handy.

Trebuchets rule... my favourite weapon of all time. Unfortunately those pics look like they were taken down the front of your pants :D I can't see a damn thing.

To throw stuff really, really far! Whee!

I was a bit of an ass in my earlier post so here's my attempt to make nice :D Here's a tip for you newbies to digital photography... when unsure always underexpose the image. There's about 4 stops of data that the eye can't see but good photo software can raise the details. However, when you blow out the highlights that's it... the data is gone forever.

Hey-now that would be a handy way of getting the woodchucks off my property....

Dave, would you use it to throw them in someone elses yard? :D
Those look pretty cool, were they all counter weighted or did some use springs?
Remember the episode of Norhtern Exposure where Chris in the morning threw a piano and later his deceased friend in a coffin.

I'm bored at work. got everything I need done, still bout an hour and a half till quittin time. My boss left for the day already, but left instructions that no one else was to leave early in the department. So I'm clicking on everything I can find in the forum and see how much I can find (or screw up).

I see no pics...

However here's your trebuchet + cow...

Me and some friends tried building one awhile ago but only with mild success. I plan on building one sometime in the future to go along with my pneumatic potato cannon.

This Trebuchet was built for the show Northern Exposure.
They flung a piano and later a coffin.
