Has anyone seen it?

I saw it last night. It ranks up there with one of the most violent movies I have ever seen. It made "Natural Born Killers" look like a daytime soap opera.

However, I did enjoy it. It was definitely different, not your typical run-of-the-mill box office action flick (you know, bad guy chases good guy, car blows up, someone gets hit in the balls, 2 cops whos cultural differences collide). I wouldn't expect anything less from Quentin Tarantino.

Can't wait to see it! There hasn't been a movie of his I have disliked. After the 24 hours of adrenalin oct 18th, i plan to make some room in our schedule to go see it.

I don't know what happened to me, but ever since I saw Nightmare on Elm Street when it came out, I've been pretty squeamish about violent movies. There used to be a time when I lived for that stuff.

However, I really love Uma Thurman- I was wondering what happened to her a few weeks ago, then shortly after, I found out she was in this movie, and I was just excited to see her in this movie. I also really like Vivica A. Fox too- she's da bomb, and my girl. I gotta see her fighting Uma. They both looked like women who can kick serious ass and the kind of person you do not want to encounter alone in an alley and get them upset...

I want to see this movie!

:)

Anyone that's seen it, do you have a review? Without telling us what happened in the movie!

saw it last night. I like the concept, but it is a tried and true HongKong/Japanese Western-style plot (i.e. - Seven Samurai, Fists of Fury, etc). Not for the squeamish (there is a good deal of violence, gore), but QT approaches most of this with the the movie styles mentioned above certain flair (unrealistic spraying blood - FYI: HARSH violence in the Anime section). AWESOME overall action and Sonny Chiba's portion is THE BEST! I would give it 8.5 overall, a recommended see. This is a brief preview and by no means covers all ground in the movie
Enjoy!

I love Tarantino's movies, but after taking my wife to see Pulp Fiction, I'm having to twist her arm to see this one. Oh well, I'll keep persisting and just wear her down.

my wife couldn;t even sit thru Pulp Fiction.,.. I went to Kill BIll by myself...

here's my review...

Kill Bill rocks... it's a cross between Kung Fu movies, and Clint Eastwood's spaghetti westerns... a man (in this case a woman) without a name, seeks revenge on the people that ruined her life... the action is over the top... the liberal use of movie blood is great... almost cartoonish... but great...

I dug it.. I can't wait until Vol. 2 in February (I think)

It is pretty violent... but the story is good... unlike a lot of movies that are pure violence, adn almost no real story, or character development...

go see it !

Kill Bill is great, and since QT was quoted to have said something like there is still no way to remove a limb and make it look real.. so i have fun with it. That sums up the movie.. its a great movie and i cant wait for vol. 2

cinema grill? that'd be like a Brew N View, right? y'know, that's just one of those truly great ideas that never really get big. more's the pity.

noticed the new avatar, too; very cool!

Yep, they get movies that are about to go to video. It's gotten a bit run down. They don't have the cider that I used to get there, but still have good beers like Newcastle. The wine you get there is watered-down cr@p. Food is so-so.

There was a really awesome one closer to me that had great food, cool interior and old cult movies but they shut down.

I don't quite understand why these places never make it.

Sonny Chiba's character "Hattori Hanzo" is actually the name of a legendary Ninja.

I know this from my training. When I first saw the film and heard the name I was grinning away happily. Kudos to QT.
