I have some Look's on one bike and some old school Time's (from late 80's early 90's) that I grew up riding and am just super used to them..... but I don't think those Time's are RSX ...... so I guess I'm down for others

my ex gave me a pair of ATACS about 4 years ago and I have been using them ever since. They are easy to walk around in, but I do get this wierd pain on the side of my foot. I am still trying to decide if it is the shoe (Sidi Doms) or the pedal/cleat set up.
I was looking at some new road shoes instead of mtb, which would mean new pedals/cleats too. should I make the change?

You wouldn't necessarily need new pedals/cleats. Alot of road shoes have 2 and 3 hole compatibility. Or if you do get shoes that only accept 3 hole cleats, you can get adaptor plates that let you use 2 hole cleats. The advantage is that road shoes generally have stiffer soles (which may solve your sore foot issues if your current shoes aren't very stiff to begin with). There also are MTB shoes with stiff soles but then you're limited to mainly pedals that use 2 hole cleats...
