My opinion:
This years "shunning" of the ASO-owned Paris-Nice by the UCI is but a practice run at a planned "shunning" of the 2008 TdF.

Hell, why not. It'll be an epic pissing contest. Until ASO decides to deal with the teams in a consistent manner, instead of with an obvious bias, they deserve no respect from the UCI, the ProTour teams, or anyone else. Let their races wither on the vine for a while.
