Just saying hello.

Have been lurking for a while, thought I better join in when the new site went up.

Have been competitively cycling for 3 years now after an injury took me out of my number one sport (Australian Rules Football).

I am a strength and conditioning coach in my spare time. Working on my MD at the moment.

Hope I can be of some assistance. :)

Welcome to the forums, mate.

Where are you from? Victoria? I'm a Queenslander living in the USA - good to have another Aussie on the boards!

Originally from Victoria, but currently living in Perth.

Recently got back from Denver myself. Loved the city, was fantastic. What's it's like living over there? How do you put up with all those Americans living in America?!?! :D

Perth's a great city - I spent a fair bit of time on projects in WA before I left in '02. So close to so much great wine country.... ;)

I've never lived in a city where so many people leave on the weekends, but with so much great countryside around it seems a waste to stay in town if you can help it. You can't beat the range of outdoor activities in Denver! It's getting pretty chilly on the morning commute and weekend rides, but at least that means the ski season will start soon. I'm in Chicago for a couple of weeks, which is really making me miss the bike and the great range of quiet roads and trails around where I live.

LMAO! Hey, the best bit is how cheap stuff is.... bikes and electronics particularly! Cheaper stuff and low tax rates means I get more toys!!!! :D

Tell me about it.

Walked in to the LBS and enquired how much the new Look frames were this year. Walked out shaking my head...

Hey Croak - good to see another local on the forums.

What area of Perth are you in? I'm in Morley. Well, I'm actually in Tasmania at the moment after completing my cross country ride. I'll be home next week.
