Advocacy & Safety - Local man moves with cyclists' help.

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

A uniquely Portlandesque story in today's paper... Proves you can really do just about anything with pedal power.

Anyone who has spent enough time outside the U.S. can testify that one can carry a lot more on a bike than would be thought possible.

I've seen a few pictures from China of people carrying full-sized sofas on their backs as they pedal down the street.

Cool story thanks for sharing it! I wish the newspaper would have had a photo or two. I'd love to see it!

There was a photo in the print edition of the Oregonian, not sure why it didn't make the web edition. Part of the move was on a major arterial street; let's hear it for motorist apoplexy!
