Southern California - The NutBagging Thread

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I usually carry a bag of cashews on my longer rides.

Too early in the thread for those kind of pics, even though they ARE funny.....
Let the poor OP's thread develop a bit before the threadbombs start. ;)

Well, that's not nice. Almonds provide an excellent source of Vitamin E and folic acid, which women need to stay healthy. You might want to be a little more considerate and wish for me an opportunity to get my mouth full of some nuts.

You're just jealous. You want someone to wonder about your nuts and whether you get enough of them on a regular basis.
I still carry one arm warmer in the front of my riding shorts. Old habits are hard to brake.

Next ride you see me on a ride, just ask. I'll share my nuts with you. :D

Do you store your nuts in the arm warmer? I would think this would keep them fresh.

I thought this thread was about mental stability, not shell-covered seed crops.
Whatever.
If I forget to take my pills in the morning, co-workers and strangers offer me theirs.

Nuts? Erm...I can have all sorts of nuts except peanuts. I'm allergic, though it takes a handful or more of peanuts before I start going into shock. I'm also allergic to other types of nuts, but it takes a whole lot more (i.e. a bagful) for them to do anything but make me itch.

I like Lara Bars. Nothing but nuts and fruit.
I was told before I moved here that SoCal was the land of fruit and nuts.
This group has not disappointed me.
