Introductions - Yep another newbie
Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Hey everyone, yes I am new as you already know. Im from Northeast Washington State, im a college student. Ive been riding bikes since I was a wee lad, training wheels the whole bit. I mostly rode mountain bikes throughout my youth and enjoyed every moment of it. I ride a clunker MB to school everyday, nothing special, but it indeed gets me to where I need to go. Anyways, about two years ago I developed an interest in road cycling, so I saved my green for about a year and bought a Lemond Reno road bike. It has been wonderful and can't believe how long I went without ever riding a road bike. The first few months I had this bike, I put in excess of 800 miles on it, pretty much addicted, like a child with a new toy. I made a few upgrades, the brakes were not satisfactory so I replaced them with 105s. I also put on some look pedals and got some shoes. Anyways biking is awesome, and it is wondeful to see the congregation of people who share the same interests on this site! Stay cool and bike it up!!
