O.k. guys, I'm looking for a decent used rig. I'm looking not for me, but for the son of a co-worker.

The son is a BIG guy that needs to drop some lbs., and his good friend is into mtn biking (friend is still a newbie himself) and asked for my advice/help.

I've already suggested a hardtail, without spending a whole lotta 'cha ching' on the bike, and if he gets into the sport, then buy the all out FR bike he's drooling over (Iron Horse SGS - Expert).

So, since I know most of you are like me, and always interested in upgrading, who's got a heavy duty hardtail (Urban, DJ style) that can hold up to a 275 young man? His inseam is right around 30", so he probably needs a Medium or a Large frame. (I figure about a 22.5 to 24.5 top tube measurement).

If you've got pictures post them!

Thanks in Advance!

I gotta go with bighit on this. They are big a burly and do everything (not a fan of pedalling up though)...

Either that or the SGS pro to save some real coin.

Klein, how much for your BIGHIT?

Mael, yeah, I like the SGS Pro myself. If I were in the market, that'd make my top 3 list!
