I have 1993 Diamond Topanga which I think has
2.1 inch tire. How can I know if it will take 1.5 inch Specialized
Nimbus? (Trying to make it easier for long road touring on it)
Thank you.

Should work just fine. I have a set of 1.25 wildgrippers on one of my wheelsets.

Sure, if you have a very wide rim the tire may not be as round as it could/should be. I doubt if you'll have any problems though.

A couple of years ago I changed my MTB tires from 1.95 to 1.5. Not a problem at all.
