I used these on my cyclocross bike last year for touring, training and a few races. This year, I'm switching to Campagnolo.
They've been in several low speed crashes characteristic of cyclocross, but are still perfectly functional. I just cleaned and lubed them. The 105 rear shifter has a tiny bit of grit you can hear when it cycles - but it seems to work fine. It's not Dura-Ace 10 smooth, but it's also not Dura Ace 10 pricey :) The Ultegra front shifter works flawlessly.
You'll also notice that the hood on the 105 shifter is a little bulged out, I had left it rolled up for around a month, and just rolled it back tonight. I don't know if it will return 100% to its pre-bent shape.
$125 shipped.
