Winter Cycling - Snow Biking And Night Riding

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Looks like the weatherman put the old hyperbole to the forecast again. Don’t go out the roads are going be slick and horrible for driving. I say yea for driving but for snow biking the roads rock roll. I mounted the helmet cam and shot some video of this mornings commute. The lights I used are helmet mounted Cygolite Dualcross pro and the Cygolite TridenX.

Nice videos; thanks for sharing. I thought it was best to ride on the road where there are no tracks. Am I mistaken?

It depends on the conditions the car tracks I rode in helped me get passed some of the rough sections.
