Hi,
Has anyone been on the Virginia Creeper Trail (http://www.vacreepertrail.com/) in the last year?
We were there 2 years ago and have it in our memories as one of the most fun and spectacular ride we ever did. We stayed in Abingdon, at the Summerfield Inn (http://www.summerfieldinn.com/)and shuttled up to the top of Whitetop mountain to ride the whole trail going back down to Abingdon.
There was a lot of restoration work being done at that time on some of the old railroad bridges and one trail segment in the Damascus area was almost down to a single track MTB trail.
Have things changed a lot recently? For the better or for the worst?
