I was out sick for Snelling and Merced though I traveled up to watch my girlfriend race and cheer for the rest of the team. I going back to Merced with a vengeance this weekend, even if my legs may not agree (a week off the bike, lost almost 5 pounds due to illness, just looking to work for the team and pack finish - got a few pounds back and I'm feeling okay, not strong, looking forward to getting my ass kicked in the wind).
Big squads in all categories, including the PROs cooling down from the ToC, read: Danny Holloway, Fast Freddy, the breakaway riders from BMC, the Jacques-Maynes brothers from Bissell and Cal Giant, etc...should be an epic weekend of racing, who else is going?
