They make nifty looking bar-end plugs/lights...i'd paste a direct link, but the whole site is done in flash, so i can't...
but here's the knog website (http://www.knog.com.au/). the bar end lights are under products/lights. they look like they'd be pretty sweet for a SS or fixed...or any bike with riser bars that don't see much of the pavement.
