I just scored a pair at a Bike Swap and I have only ever seen them with grips. Also I was searching for pics and realized are like 4 or 5 diferent types of them

I think promenades are cool for a townie/cargo bike.
Comfortable all-day riding position, doesn't extend over the front
wheel where stuff can sit on a front rack.

those are moustache bars, not proms.
kind of a big difference, specially when you consider the drop onf moustaches.
