The ride is now over.

I'm glad to say that I made every kilometre across the country.

We had some good conditions a lotof the way and a fewdays of atrocious conditions.

I'm now spending some time with my family in Tasmania. I'll be home on Monday the 20th and in the days after that I'll start adding detailsof each day's riding, including photos.

Where in Tassie did you venture Rod? Only Hobart?

I'm finally home. Phew!

We arrived on the Spirt of Tasmania 2 in Devonport and then travelled to Smithton by bus. We rode from Smithton to Burnie, Burnie to Launceston, Launceston to St Helens, St Helens to Swansea, Swansea to Hobart.

My family joined me in Hobart and we stayed in Tassie for a week before travelling to Melbourne where we spent a few days. We flew home last night.

Some big hills on your venture Rod. I've ridden most of the routes you ventured on.. Burnie to Launceston would've really tested the legs. What did you think of Devonport? Thats my hometown ;)
