I just read a great book called "Major" written by Todd Balf. It is the biography of Major Taylor one of the lesser known US cycling stars. It gives a good accounting of bicycle racing in the US when it was the top sport in the country. I highly suggest it for those days when want your cycling fix but the weather is not cooperating.
