Hi...I'm new the the forums.
I have singed up for a ride in March in Norther IL. I was hoping to get some suggestions as to what I should wear on the ride to keep warm and comfortable. I'm doing about 30 miles or so.
thanks

For 35 degrees, I'd wear:
Regular shoes with wool socks. Maybe booties.
Insulated tights.
Base layer and breathable shell jacket.
Something to cover the ears.
Ski gloves. (I may be in the minority on that one)

I wear gloves with a removable liner (http://www.specialized.com/bc/SBCEqProduct.jsp?spid=31706) -- if it gets too hot I just remove the shells and stuff them in a pocket.

Although I wear my regular gloves under some thin windproof gloves I picked up from Eddie Bauer
