View Full Version : rush hour on the track
So, I'm going to start track classes in week or so. I ride a rush hour and was wondering if anyone else here does the same. If so, how do they do on the track? I know they have more road-ish geometry but will it be something that I should worry about? I plan on getting a new frame in the future, anyway. But I just wanna make sure it's not gonna completely suck until I do.
Thanks.

No, it'll be perfectly fine to ride on the track.

No problem. Nobody else posts in this subforum, so I might as well help someone out.

You'll be fine. I saw some kid on a stock Rush Hour ripping **** up at Hellyer last year.

Yeah, I had a friend who did his last two seasons on his Rush Hour, in addition to commuting and sandwich delivery. It's a good bike and will cut it just fine at the track.

Ditto, it's a decent bike. I had a very successful track season with mine. I did upgrade the wheels halfway through the year.
It's not the bike, it's the rider. You may be better served on another bike, but it won't make as huge a difference as most people would like to think.
i figured as much. i'm not assuming i'll be way better with another frame but i wanted to make sure the thing doesn't suck on the velodrome. thanks for the input fellas.
