I've been looking for a more street oriented tire for this bike, to replace the Kenda K-831s: 24 x 1.95 inch that come stock.

I've been reading the various threads on 24 inch rim sizes, what a mess.

If I understand it right, I need to stick to a decimal size, which should then be an ISO 507.

Two candidates I have found so far (at Niagara Cycle Works) are the Pyramid 24X1.75 Black/Black Street K123 and the Cheng Shin C90 Street Tire 24” x 1.75” Wire Bead Black Wall. The pyramid looks to be the most street oriented so by the picture at least, that would be my first choice. Niagara lists both of these tires as being ISO 406, which I think is a 20 inch rim....

I have a note out to Niagara, anyone have experience/knowledge with either of these tires? I am not sure what forum to list this in.

Thanks!

Niagara responded their web site was wrong. So I will go ahead with the Pyramid tires.

Your tires should be a 507, but look on the sidewall. Many (most?) tires also have the metric designation also printed there.
Not a great selection for 24" "street tires" I've noticed!
