If you can't recover it and you have homeowner's insurance, you might want to give your insurance co. a ring and see if they can help you out. I'll keep my eyes open (can't open them too much, I'm asian).
Well it has distinguishing marks.. so that is a good thing, hope your bike is recovered. I don't have any east bay plans until monday, but when I do get up there, I'll watch for the green recumbant.

Thanks for the support, everybody. I appreciate it.
If you see a bike like this anywhere in or near Berkeley, ESPECIALLY being walked, but even under a rider, call the police and let them sort it out (they have a full description and serial # in the report). It's a rare color of a rare bike, and I'm pretty sure there isn't another one in the area.

Check the Oakland flea markets tomorrow.
Oh.... watch craigslist too!!! The item description will probably not even be close, so its anybodys guess what the seller will say it is.

UPDATE: I checked Ashby market on Saturday and Laney market on Sunday, no luck. However, I have reports that it was sold at the Oakland Coliseum market on Saturday morning, and that it's been seen near 34th and West in Oakland.
Please keep an eye out in popular riding areas like Lake Merritt...it's still in town.
Also, there were a LOT of obviously stolen bikes at Laney...not so at Ashby. I think Laney and the Coliseum are where most of them end up, so if your bike gets ganked, report it to police immediately and check the markets *immediately* early the next morning...get there at opening and hang around a few hours if you can. Laney is Sundays only, and the Coliseum is Tuesday-Saturday.
At Laney I recall, among others, a large gray metallic Tommasso with Ultegra and light blue Team Gerolsteiner pedals that looked, let's say, out of place.

UPDATE: bike has been recovered! Thanks for the help and support.
Hint: if you say "reward, no questions asked", sometimes it works. But you have to follow through on it, even though you're dying to know how the hell your bike ended up wherever it did. Just pay the tax, take your bike, and be glad you got it back.

To all the bike thieves out there.... a bright green recumbent bike MIGHT not be the most ideal bike to steal... even though you never suffered the consequences of your actions.
Congrats on the recovery.

Good to hear you go it back. Glad you didn't have to give the perps a thorough beat down :D
