I'm in Decatur, IL for the weekend (and likely for several more weekends in the future this summer). Not being from the area at all, what are the best roads for a longish ride around Macon County, IL?

This sounds like a bad joke, but any road out of Decatur is a good one.
But there is a grain of truth there. Go to http://www.dot.il.gov/bikemap/pdf/Macon.pdf for a bike map of Macon County. All the green routes are good.

Decatur is the one and only place I've ever had a blow out - knock on wood... that being said, I'll be training a lot when I go visit the family this summer! I better buy more tires...
