I'm heading out this afternoon and it's been years. I had a healthy-vegitatian-do-a-little-racing phase maybe 16-17 years ago and never got rid of the bikes. I rehabbed a Fisher Mt. Tam (with upgrades) and a Mongoose Redondo. Apparently I can still wrench. So today I'll ride into the office, trying out my commute route on the Mongoose. I'm ready.
If and when these bikes work out I'll rehab the Whiskey Town Lite! Woohoo!
Then if THAT works out, the Trek 1400 with Dura-Ace (7 speed?), Mavic crankset (it was from the Lemond era) and Brooks Professional seat! I think we'll be looking at meatier tires for that.

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
